Siemens delivered the first driverless Inspiro HC train to Sydney for the Western Sydney Airport rail line. The line will open to passengers in mid-to-late 2027, after the airport's October 2026 launch.

Amtrak will add nine Siemens Venture railcars to the Milwaukee-Chicago Hiawatha line beginning fall 2026. This will restore seating lost in 2025 after Horizon car removals.

Rail lines between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton were blocked by an emergency incident on July 31, 2026, causing cancellations and delays. All lines reopened by 13:00 BST with normal train services restored.
