Celebrity Cruises announced its 2028 and 2029 deployment schedule, featuring itineraries on all seven continents. The cruise line will deploy four Edge Series ships—including the recently renewed Celebrity Beyond—in Europe for the first time in this cycle. The lineup includes extended sailings across Europe, Alaska, Asia, Australia, South America, Antarctica, Bermuda, and New England, offering expanded immersive destination options.
Europe Deployments with Edge Series Ships and Celebrity Beyond Returns
Europe itineraries will include seven- to 14-night sailings from Southampton to Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia aboard the Edge Series ships. Celebrity Beyond returns to European waters for the first time since 2023 with new onboard spaces: the Mediterranean restaurant Bora, and
the Celebrity Pool Club featuring the Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol. Celebrity Beyond’s 14-night voyages will visit Icelandic ports such as Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur, combined with Norwegian fjord stops including Geiranger and Bergen.
Celebrity Apex will offer 12-night Scandinavian sailings calling at Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Copenhagen. It will also conduct new 12-night British Isles cruises featuring Celebrity Cruises’ debut visit to Galway, Ireland. Mediterranean sailings ranging from seven to 11 nights will be available on Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, and Celebrity Eclipse, covering Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey.
Celebrity Constellation will conduct 10- and 11-night cruises to Italy and Croatia, marking the first visit to Bari, Italy, since 2014. Celebrity Infinity provides year-round European cruises and reintroduces Egypt itineraries with overnight stops in Alexandria, the first since 2023.
Alaska and North Pacific Sailings Including Land-Based Tours
Three Celebrity ships will sail Alaska in 2028. Celebrity Edge returns for its fifth season, Celebrity Equinox debuts its first Alaska season, and Celebrity Millennium continues its presence in the region. Celebrity Equinox will operate seven-night open-jaw cruises between Vancouver and Seward. Celebrity Millennium will offer round-trip sailings from Vancouver.
Celebrity Equinox also introduces an Alaska Cruisetour including land stays
in Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali, guided by experts with local knowledge. This will extend exploration opportunities beyond traditional cruising itineraries.
Asia, Japan, and Southeast Asia Itineraries
Celebrity Solstice will conduct a full Japan season for the first time, sailing from April to October 2028. Itineraries include overnight visits in Kyoto and Aomori, with stops in Tokyo and near Mt. Fuji, as well as participation in cultural events like Golden Week and Gion Matsuri festivals. Celebrity Millennium will offer spring and fall Japan cruises aligning with Cherry Blossom, Hibiscus, and koyo leaf-viewing seasons.
Both Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Millennium will make 17 calls to Okinawa. Southeast Asia
routes will span Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China with overnight stays in Bangkok, Phuket, Benoa Bali, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Penang. Celebrity Millennium features a New Year’s Eve overnight stay in Hong Kong with fireworks welcoming 2029.
Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, South America, Antarctica and Other Regions
Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will undertake 23 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland, with journeys lasting four to 14 nights that showcase Australia’s and New Zealand’s natural and cultural highlights. Celebrity Solstice South Pacific cruises include Tauranga (New Zealand), Lifou (Loyalty Islands), and Mystery Island (Vanuatu).
South America and Antarctica voyages on Celebrity Equinox will last 12 to 16 nights, covering
five countries. Destinations include Chilean Fjords, Iguazu Falls, Antarctica, Tierra del Fuego National Park, Valparaiso (Chile), and Buenos Aires (Argentina). The 16-night holiday voyage includes New Year’s Eve celebrations in Antarctica.
Celebrity Summit offers seven-night Bermuda sailings departing from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, in May 2028, featuring two overnight port stays. Twelve-night cruises from Boston in September and October 2028 include Canadian and New England destinations such as Quebec City, with an overnight stop to explore its historic old town.

The deployment reflects Celebrity Cruises’ strategy to expand experiences through longer and more immersive voyages, with onboard enhancements such as new dining venues and outdoor pools, as well as land-based tours. The cruise line operates in over 300 destinations across more than 70 countries, blending small ship intimacy with large ship amenities.
