London Stansted Airport will open nine new flight routes across Europe and Turkey in 2026, driven by new airline arrivals and expanded services from existing carriers.
New Routes Announced for 2026
Turkish Airlines began operating a new service to Istanbul in March 2026, scheduling up to 15 weekly flights. This route marks Stansted as Turkish Airlines’ sixth UK base and connects passengers to over 350 onward destinations.
Low-cost carrier easyJet introduced flights from Stansted to Paris Charles de Gaulle. Ryanair launched a route to Malmö in Sweden. Jet2.com added three destinations: Jerez in southern Spain, Samos in Greece, and La Palma in the Canary Islands.
TUI started flights to the Greek island of Kos, while BA CityFlyer began services to Olbia in Sardinia. AJet added a route to Bodrum, Turkey, and Cyprus Airways announced plans to resume flights between Stansted and Larnaca, Cyprus.
Stansted Expands Network and Airline Partnerships
With more than 200 destinations now available, Stansted is reinforcing its role as a key UK international airport. During peak summer, Turkish Airlines operates 170 weekly flights from the UK and Ireland, underscoring the airport’s growing connectivity.
The expansion involves both new airlines joining Stansted and existing carriers increasing their route offerings, broadening the airport’s access to European and Turkish locations.
