11, 2026, through ORD and Northeast airports—including JFK, LGA, and EWR—on tickets purchased by August 9, with rebooking allowed from August 10 through August 13.
United Airlines offered fee-free rebooking for flights departing Chicago on August 11, allowing travel reschedules between August 9 and August 14 in the same cabin without fare differences. Delta Air Lines extended similar waivers to tickets issued on or before August 10 for travel through New York metro airports JFK, LGA, EWR, and Westchester County Airport (HPN), permitting rebooking through August 13 without change fees.
JetBlue covered flights touching JFK, LGA, EWR, HPN, Long Island
MacArthur Airport (ISP), or Boston Logan International (BOS) on August 10 and 11. The airline waived change and cancellation fees plus fare differences, with rebooked travel allowed through August 15.
All four carriers advised passengers to complete rebooking through their websites or mobile applications before arriving at airports to avoid delays.
