Ryanair has launched 29 new flight routes for its summer 2027 schedule, increasing its network to over 2,500 routes serving 230 destinations across Europe.
New Spanish Connections and Expanded Network
Among the newly announced routes, four connect to Spanish airports including Alicante to Naples, Alicante to Tangier, Malaga to Norwich, and Memmingen to Seville. These connections add new departure points for Alicante and a new direct route for Malaga to Norwich, while Memmingen Airport in Bavaria gains a new link to southern Spain.
Geographic Spread Across Europe
The United Kingdom features in 11 of the new routes, Italy in 10, and Poland in 8, reflecting Ryanair’s focus on these markets.
Leeds Bradford Airport is the largest beneficiary with four new connections to Bari, Budapest, Corfu, and Tirana. Bari and Wroclaw airports each add three new routes, including Bari to Friedrichshafen, Leeds Bradford, and Oslo Torp, and Wroclaw adding routes from Birmingham, Burgas, and Catania.
Morocco also sees expanded service with new flights from Tangier to Alicante, Krakow, and Turin, as well as a Palermo to Marrakech connection strengthening Ryanair’s presence in North Africa.
Boeing 737 MAX 10 Orders and Certification Status
Ryanair maintains firm orders for 150 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, with options for an additional 150, expecting delivery of its first 15 units in northern spring
2027. Despite the Federal Aviation Administration’s announcement on 28 September 2026 that certification is delayed due to a software issue, Ryanair has stated its delivery schedule remains unaffected.
The Boeing 737 MAX 10 offers up to 230 seats and reduces fuel consumption and emissions by 20%, while halving noise compared to earlier models, supporting Ryanair’s strategy to increase capacity and improve efficiency on its busiest routes.
Official Statements and Future Plans
Dara Brady, Ryanair’s marketing director, described the 29 new routes as the first release of what he called an “exceptional schedule for the summer of 2027.” Brady added that the airline will announce “more
exciting developments as Ryanair continues to expand the largest route network in Europe.”
