East Midlands Railway will reinstate cancelled Intercity train services from 31 August 2026 after July reductions caused by Aurora Class 810 train reliability issues. The operator and Hitachi Rail are working together on maintenance and modifications to improve fleet performance.

CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive delivered the first seven of 40 trainsets for Shanghai Metro Line 22. Line 22, featuring GoA4 automation and a long underground section, will open by the end of 2026.
