Disney Cruise Line launched general reservations on September 8, 2026, for sailings scheduled in fall 2027 and spring 2028. The booking window includes all eight ships in its fleet. Eligible Castaway Club members had early access starting August 31, 2026, allowing advanced bookings of selected itineraries.
Disney Wish Returns to New York City with Multiple Itineraries
The Disney Wish resumes cruising from New York City after a four-year hiatus, scheduling a season from late September to early November 2027. This season features seven itineraries ranging from four to seven nights. Five of these cruises visit Bermuda, with three offering an extended day at King’s Wharf. The ship also sails to
New England and Atlantic Canada, calling at ports including Saint John, Boston, Halifax, Charlottetown, and Sydney. One itinerary offers a one-way voyage from New York to San Juan, Puerto Rico. A notable 12-night transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York includes stops in Scotland, Iceland with an overnight in Reykjavik, and Newfoundland. Concierge staterooms for this itinerary sold out within 30 to 40 minutes of availability.
Disney Magic and Panama Canal Repositioning Cruises
Disney Magic offers two 14-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal—one eastbound and one westbound—with maiden calls at Fuerte Amador near Panama City and Colón. These repositioning voyages trade port visits for additional sea
days to provide onboard activities during transit between San Diego and Galveston homeport seasons. The Galveston season includes cruises lasting four to seven nights, featuring seven-night Bahamian itineraries with stops at Disney’s private destinations: Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay.
Port Canaveral Debut for Disney Destiny and Multiple Homeports for Other Ships
The Disney Destiny will homeport in Port Canaveral for the first time during this season after beginning with three- to five-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale. Port Canaveral will host three Disney ships simultaneously: Disney Destiny, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure. The Disney Treasure continues seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages from Port Canaveral, including an eight-night Eastern Caribbean
itinerary and a six-night Bahamian cruise with two stops at Castaway Cay.
Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy both sail from San Juan offering five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean itineraries. Disney Fantasy runs four- and five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral between September and November 2027, then relocates to Fort Lauderdale for four- to seven-night Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean sailings. Disney Fantasy also features an eight-night Bermuda cruise calling at both Disney island destinations for the first time in its history.
Disney Dream operates three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral before repositioning to Fort
Lauderdale in November 2027. The season includes a six-night cruise with two stops at Castaway Cay.
Disney Adventure Expands Asia Offerings and Seasonal Themes Resume
Disney Adventure opens bookings for new three- and four-night sailings from Singapore running September through December 2027, with select itineraries adding a new port call at Langkawi, Malaysia. Seasonal themed cruises return with Halloween on the High Seas events beginning in September 2027 and Very Merrytime holiday cruises featuring festive decorations and visits from Santa Claus launching in November and December.
Booking policies include a refundable 10 percent deposit for most non-concierge reservations, refundable until 3 to 4 months before sailing. Concierge deposits are
non-refundable. Several itineraries showed high initial demand, especially for New York sailings. Experts monitoring bookings noted fast sellouts of concierge staterooms on rare routes such as the transatlantic cruise. However, cancellations and date changes before payment deadlines may free up availability.
Passengers are advised to secure their preferred stateroom category early, with choices including inside, oceanview, verandah, and concierge. Early dining at 5:45 p.m. fills rapidly, particularly for families with young children, while 8:15 p.m. seating remains available. Legal names and birthdates of all travelers, including infants, must be provided at booking.
Disney has yet to release itineraries for the
new Disney Believe ship launching in late 2027. Speculation exists that it may homeport in Fort Lauderdale, with more details expected at a Disney Wish event in October 2026.
