Celebrity Cruises opened bookings on November 3, 2026, for the debut season of Celebrity Xcite, its newest ship in the Edge Series, scheduled to begin sailing in 2028.
Celebrity Xcite Launch Details and Itinerary
Celebrity Xcite marks the sixth vessel in the award-winning Edge Series. Its inaugural cruises are planned for 2028, featuring seven-night Caribbean itineraries departing from Miami. The ship’s first voyage is set for November 19, 2028.
During its maiden season, Celebrity Xcite will visit Caribbean destinations including St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, and the Dominican Republic.
Expanded Caribbean Deployment for 2028-2029
Celebrity Cruises will deploy multiple Edge Series ships across
the Caribbean in 2028 and 2029. Celebrity Beyond will operate nine three-night weekend cruises from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas between November 2028 and March 2029, introducing shorter Caribbean getaways on Edge Series vessels.
Other ships sailing the region include Celebrity Eclipse with 11-night itineraries, Celebrity Summit offering four- to five-night cruises from Miami, Celebrity Silhouette conducting eight- to 12-night summer itineraries and seven-night winter cruises from San Juan, and Celebrity Xcel running six- and eight-night sailings covering Southern and Western Caribbean routes.
Celebrity Ascent’s scheduled voyages range from nine to 12 nights, visiting islands such as Grand Cayman, Aruba,
Curaçao, Saint Lucia, and Martinique. Celebrity Constellation will provide seven-night trips from Tampa calling at Key West, The Bahamas, and Western Caribbean locations.
Ship Upgrades and New Onboard Experiences
Celebrity Reflection will undergo a transformation in March 2027, adding 13 new spaces including the Grand Plaza and guest-favorite venues from other Celebrity ships. This refurbishment aims to enhance dining, entertainment, and relaxation areas on board.
Celebrity Beyond will debut new dining venues such as Orange Peel Bar & Grille, Tacos del Sol, and Bora from November 2026, enriching onboard options ahead of its expanded Caribbean itineraries.
