Radisson Hotel Group Opens 160 Hotels Globally in First Half of 2026

Radisson Opens 160 Hotels in H1 2026 with Major Greek Expansion

Radisson Hotel Group signed and opened 160 new hotel properties worldwide in the first half of 2026, increasing its portfolio by more than 22,000 keys, according to www.indexbox.io.

In the Middle East and Africa, the group expanded with openings such as Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Barsha Heights, Radisson Collection Residences in Riyadh, and Radisson Blu Hotel at Almaty Airport. Africa surpassed a total of 100 hotels either operational or planned. In Europe, new contracts included Radisson Collection Hotel in Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside, alongside openings in Austria, Germany, and Poland. The company also broadened its resort

offerings in Tenerife, Spain, and Phuket, Thailand.

Radisson Individuals expanded its footprint in Greece and Spain, while Radisson RED debuted in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Turkey. Radisson Collection extended its presence in key gateway cities including Lake Como, Italy.

The Verified Net Zero environmental initiative grew with 10 additional hotels joining across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the first property in South Africa. Les Loges, part of Cour des Loges Lyon—a Radisson Collection Hotel—earned a Michelin star 10 months after reopening.

Asia Pacific remains a vital market with continued growth supported by demographic trends, travel demand, and

investor confidence. Radisson currently operates over 260 hotels in China under multiple brands with a strong development pipeline. Southeast Asia Pacific saw the first Radisson Individuals Premier property with LIME Resort Bohol, and Radisson RED made its Australasian debut with the opening of Radisson RED Auckland in New Zealand.

India showed strong momentum with 22 new hotel signings and openings in the first half of 2026. Radisson Hotel Group operates 142 hotels across 86 Indian cities, encompassing over 15,500 keys, and maintains a development pipeline nearing 100 properties. The India Vision 2030 strategy targets portfolio expansion to 500 hotels in

five years.
