Radisson Hotel Group finalized agreements and inaugurated operations for 160 hotels during the first half of 2026, adding over 22,000 keys to its portfolio. The company expanded its presence across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, reflecting strong owner confidence in its brand offerings and financial results, according to www.indexbox.io.

Major Property Launches and Signings Across Regions

Key openings in the Middle East included Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Barsha Heights, Radisson Collection Residences Riyadh, and Radisson Blu Hotel Almaty Airport, reinforcing the group’s footprint in vital markets. Africa surpassed 100 Radisson hotels either operational or under development. In Europe, the group inked deals for Radisson

Collection Hotel Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside, while new properties launched in Austria, Germany, and Poland. Resort expansions featured new hotels in Tenerife and Phuket.

Radisson Individuals increased its presence in Greece and Spain. Radisson RED debuted in New Zealand with Radisson RED Auckland, also marking the group’s first property in the country, and expanded into the Philippines and Turkey. Radisson Collection also expanded its reach in gateway cities such as Lake Como, Italy.

Achievements in Sustainability and Culinary Excellence

The company extended its Verified Net Zero initiative by adding 10 hotels soon across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, and South Africa, supporting its

environmental targets. Les Loges at Cour des Loges Lyon, part of Radisson Collection, earned its first Michelin star just 10 months after reopening, demonstrating quality beyond accommodations.

Growth in Asia Pacific and Indian Market Expansion

Asia Pacific remains a strategic region due to demographic and travel trends. China hosts more than 260 operational Radisson hotels across Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, and Radisson RED brands, with continued development in Wuhan, Beijing, Chongqing, and smaller cities. Southeast Asia Pacific saw the group’s Premier Radisson Individuals entry with LIME Resort Bohol in the Philippines.

India saw 22 new Radisson hotel signings and openings in the

first six months of 2026, bringing the total pipeline there to nearly 100 properties. Radisson currently operates 142 hotels with more than 15,500 keys across 86 Indian cities. The company launched its India Vision 2030 strategy aiming to expand the portfolio to 500 hotels within five years, driven by strong owner demand and improving infrastructure.

Executive Perspective and Strategic Outlook

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted the creation of value for guests and owners through the group’s brands and staff. He emphasized the company’s commitment to long-term business growth with returns that exceed market averages, underscoring

confidence in sustained expansion.

Position in EMEA and Southeast Asia Pacific Markets

Since 2019, Radisson has consistently been the most frequently signed hotel brand in the EMEA and Southeast Asia Pacific regions within its category. This ongoing preference by owners supports the group’s global growth initiatives and confirms its position as a major player in branded lodging across these markets.
