Radisson Hotel Group Opens 160 Hotels with 22,000 Keys in First Half 2026

Radisson Hotel Group finalized agreements and launched operations for 160 properties during the first half of 2026, adding more than 22,000 rooms to its portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

The group reinforced its presence with key openings including Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Barsha Heights, Radisson Collection Residences Riyadh, and Radisson Blu Hotel Almaty Airport in the Middle East and Africa. Over 100 hotels are currently operational or in development across the African continent. In Europe, the company signed Radisson Collection Hotel Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside, while opening new hotels in Austria, Germany,

and Poland. Resort expansions were realized with new properties in Tenerife and Phuket, and Radisson Individuals extended its footprint in Greece and Spain. Lifestyle and luxury brands launched in new markets with Radisson RED debuting in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Turkiye, and Radisson Collection growing its portfolio in gateway cities such as Lake Como.

Asia Pacific remains a strategic growth region, with more than 260 Radisson-branded hotels operating in China, primarily in Wuhan, Beijing, and Chongqing, along with emerging Tier 2 to Tier 4 cities. The first half of 2026 saw 22 hotels signed and opened in India, expanding

the pipeline there to nearly 100 properties. Currently, Radisson operates 142 hotels with over 15,500 keys across 86 Indian cities. The group’s India Vision 2030 strategy aims to reach 500 hotels within five years. In Southeast Asia Pacific, LIME Resort Bohol joined Radisson Individuals Premier, marking the brand’s entry into the region. Radisson RED Auckland opened as the group’s first property in New Zealand and first Radisson RED in Australasia.

Radisson advanced its Verified Net Zero sustainability initiative by adding 10 hotels across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and its first property in South Africa. The fine dining restaurant

Les Loges at Cour des Loges Lyon, a Radisson Collection Hotel, earned its first Michelin star just 10 months after reopening. Since 2019, Radisson has been the most frequently signed hotel brand in the EMEA and Southeast Asia Pacific regions within its category.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted the company’s strategy of delivering value through its diverse brand portfolio and staff, emphasizing a commitment to sustainable growth and returns exceeding market averages.
