MGallery Collection, part of Accor’s boutique hotel portfolio, and Colossos SA, a family-owned hospitality company on Rhodes, have finalized an agreement to develop the first MGallery hotel on the island. The adults-only property is currently under construction, targeting an opening in Spring 2027.

Hotel Location, Architecture, and Design

The resort will be situated in Kallithea, Rhodes, in Greece’s Southeastern Aegean region. The design draws inspiration from Rhodes’ architectural heritage, particularly the Medieval City known as the Island of Knights. A ten-storey main building, notable for its spiral silhouette, will provide every room with unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea.

Accommodation Features and Privacy Focus

MGallery Rhodes will offer a total

of 222 guestrooms, suites, and bungalows designed exclusively for adults. The resort emphasizes privacy and personalized service, featuring private pool accommodations and 50 secluded pools dispersed throughout the property to enhance exclusivity and relaxation.

Landscaping, Dining, and Leisure Facilities

The grounds will be landscaped with native Mediterranean plants including olive trees, hibiscus, lavender, rosemary, myrtle, and oleanders, integrating the natural environment with the resort. Dining options encompass one fine dining restaurant, four specialty restaurants highlighting Mediterranean and international cuisines, and multiple bars, including a signature cocktail bar.

Wellness and Sports Amenities

The resort’s wellness facilities include a 1,100 square-meter spa equipped with indoor and hydromassage pools. The spa offers

treatments developed in partnership with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection. Additional recreational amenities consist of an outdoor fitness center, exercise routes, and courts for tennis and padel.

Sustainability Commitments

Colossos SA is investing in renewable energy and environmentally conscious practices to promote sustainable tourism development. Accor aligns with these efforts, further advancing sustainability through its global initiatives.

Strategic Importance and Brand Expansion

The new hotel underscores Colossos SA’s vision for future hospitality on Rhodes focusing on quality, aesthetics, and international partnerships. MGallery’s presence in Greece expands with this resort, complementing six existing MGallery properties and contributing to the brand’s global pipeline of 56 new hotels.

Regional Tourism Impact

The project strengthens Rhodes’ standing as a competitive international destination by enriching luxury accommodation options and supporting tourism growth in Greece’s Southeastern Aegean region.
