MGallery Collection, part of Accor’s boutique hotel portfolio, and Rhodes-based Colossos SA have signed an agreement to open the first MGallery hotel in Rhodes. The adults-only resort is under construction in the Kallithea area overlooking the Aegean Sea, with opening scheduled for Spring 2027.
Architecture and Accommodation Facilities
The design draws inspiration from Rhodes’ heritage as the Island of Knights and its Medieval City. The resort will feature a distinctive ten-storey spiraled main building, private pool bungalows, and luxurious suites focused on privacy. There will be 222 guestrooms, suites, and bungalows, each with panoramic sea views and approximately 50 secluded pools throughout the property.
Amenities and Wellness Offerings
MGallery Rhodes will offer a 1,100 square-meter spa including an indoor pool and hydromassage pool. Wellness treatments will be developed in partnership with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection. Additional facilities include an outdoor fitness centre, tennis and padel courts, and dedicated exercise routes. Dining options comprise one fine dining venue, four specialty restaurants with Mediterranean and international cuisine, and several bars including a signature cocktail bar.
Sustainability and Corporate Collaboration
The resort prioritizes sustainability through renewable energy investments and environmentally conscious practices aligned with Accor’s leadership in responsible tourism. Colossos SA, a family-owned company with a long-standing presence on Rhodes, views the
project as a strategically important investment expressing its vision for quality, aesthetics, international partnerships, and distinctive hospitality experiences.
Brand Strategy and Market Positioning
MGallery’s strategy focuses on creating hotels rooted in local stories and authentic connections. MGallery currently operates six hotels in Greece and is doubling its footprint in the country. This project strengthens MGallery’s presence in Rhodes and supports the island’s development as a world-class destination in the Southeastern Aegean region.
