Jetstar Japan will increase flight frequencies on the Tokyo Narita to Taipei Taoyuan route by adding four weekly round trips from December 26, 2026. This expansion forms part of the carrier’s winter 2026 schedule update, which runs from October 25, 2026, through March 27, 2027.
Airbus A321LR Deployment and Fleet Details
Starting October 2026, Jetstar Japan will introduce two new Airbus A321LR jets to its fleet. Each aircraft will seat 232 passengers, approximately 30% more than the 180-seat Airbus A320 models currently operated. The fleet for the winter 2026 schedule will consist of 22 Airbus aircraft.

The expanded schedule covers 25 routes: 18 domestic and seven
international. Jetstar Japan will operate up to 108 flights daily during the winter season. On the Tokyo Narita–Taipei route, flights will rise from two to up to three daily round trips on selected days, totaling 18 weekly round trips or 36 flights per week starting December 26, 2026.
Superstar Sale Fare Promotion
Accompanying the winter 2026 schedule launch, Jetstar Japan held its Superstar Sale from August 28 to September 2, 2026. The sale featured domestic one-way fares beginning at 2,990 yen and international fares to Asian destinations starting from 8,690 yen.
