Hyatt ranks second and Marriott third in brand value among luxury hotel brands globally.

Hilton’s brand value increased 28% to reach USD 19.2 billion. Taj Hotels grew 32%, attaining a brand value of USD 878 million. Hyatt’s brand value decreased 6% to USD 7.5 billion, while Marriott’s luxury brand value rose 23% to USD 4.6 billion.

Catering to trends in personalized and experience-led stays, Hyatt has a development pipeline of 148,000 rooms. Its World of Hyatt loyalty program has approximately 63 million members, bolstering long-term growth prospects.
Marriott’s Luxury Brand Initiatives and Loyalty Program
Marriott ranks third with luxury brands such as Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, JW Marriott, and EDITION. Portfolio expansion and strategic initiatives like launching ‘Series by Marriott’ support its market presence. Its Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program has grown to 271 million members globally, strengthening brand equity and customer retention across markets.
Taj Hotels’ Brand Strength and Heritage Positioning
Taj Hotels leads in brand strength with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 93.5 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating, alongside a 32% brand value increase. The brand distinguishes itself by combining Indian heritage with personalized hospitality and timeless luxury, appealing to travelers seeking authentic and experience-driven stays.

ranks as the second strongest luxury hotel brand with a BSI of 87.1 and an AAA rating. Marriott follows third with a BSI of 83.4 and an AAA- rating. These scores reflect premium positioning, diverse luxury brand portfolios, and operational excellence across global markets.

Brand Finance attributes sustained brand strength and value in the luxury hotel sector to the creation of distinctive guest experiences, the balance of heritage and innovation, and investments in personalized service and digital capabilities. Henry Farr, Brand Finance’s Global Sector Head of Hotels, noted that competition for high-value travelers intensifies, making long-term brand investment and guest
