Hilton has officially opened the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa in Chania, Greece. The property operates under Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ flagship brand and is situated five minutes on foot from the Chania Old Town entrance and 20 minutes by car from Chania International Airport. This resort marks Hilton’s strategic return to Greece with a year-round destination on Crete’s culturally rich Aegean coastline.

Accommodation and Wellness Facilities

The resort contains 85 rooms and suites designed to provide privacy and exclusivity for guests. Each room includes a private balcony with heated pool access; selected accommodations also feature in-room saunas and views of the

Wellness facilities include a fully equipped spa managed under the L’Occitane en Provence Spa brand with four treatment rooms, a hammam, saunas, steam baths, and dedicated relaxation spaces. Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor heated pools alongside a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Dining Options and Bars

Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa hosts diverse culinary venues. Poème de la Canée delivers all-day Mediterranean dining spread over two levels, catering to guests from morning through evening.

The rooftop restaurant and bar, Céleste, includes a heated infinity pool and serves curated menus with bar bites and signature drinks while providing wide Aegean Sea views. Fauchon Café Pâtisserie debuts in Greece within the hotel lobby, introducing French pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and the traditional five o’clock tea. The C Bar lounge overlooks the sea and offers premium aged spirits and fine cigars from Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Little Galaxy, an open-air rooftop botanical garden, serves as a sanctuary for guests and can hold events of up to 120 people.

Event Spaces and Loyalty Benefits

The property features flexible event spaces equipped with modern

conference infrastructure to host weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and retreats year-round. The rooftop botanical area and indoor venues provide adaptable settings for events of various scales. Guests booking directly benefit from Hilton Honors loyalty program advantages, including flexible payment options combining points and money, exclusive discounts, free standard Wi-Fi, and access to Hilton’s mobile app digital tools.

Strategic Vision Behind the Resort

According to Hilton’s Senior Vice President for Continental Europe, this opening denotes the flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand’s return to the Greek market. The resort is designed to serve visitors throughout the year, enhancing Hilton’s presence with over 50 properties now operational

in Greece. Lambros Tsiledakis, Vice President of Development and Operations at Tsiledakis Group, described the resort as a strategic investment aimed at establishing Chania as a year-round destination.
