Hilton opened the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa in July 2026, marking the return of its Hilton Hotels & Resorts flagship brand to Greece. The new resort sits five minutes’ walk from the entrance to Chania’s historic Old Town on Crete and is a 20-minute drive from Chania Airport. The property is part of Hilton’s network of more than 50 hotels currently operating in Greece.
Accommodation and Wellness Facilities
The resort features 85 rooms and suites designed for privacy and exclusivity. Many guest rooms include private balconies with heated pools, some with in-room saunas and views of the Aegean Sea. Wellness amenities
include a rooftop heated infinity pool overlooking the coastline and a botanical garden providing panoramic sunset views of the sea and Old Town.
Additional facilities comprise a spa and wellness centre, a fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and flexible communal spaces for guest interaction.
Culinary and Lounge Venues
Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa hosts several dining outlets. Poème de la Canée serves Mediterranean cuisine in an all-day, two-level venue. Céleste rooftop restaurant and bar provides a heated infinity pool setting with Aegean Sea views and an all-day menu.
The resort introduced the first Fauchon Café Pâtisserie in Greece, offering French pastries,
gourmet sandwiches, and a five o’clock tea service within the hotel lobby, accessible from both the street and interior. The C Bar lounge offers premium aged spirits and Cuban and Dominican Republic cigars in a sea-view setting.
Little Galaxy, a rooftop botanical garden with Cretan herbs, accommodates up to 120 guests for events and receptions with sunset views.
Spa and Wellness Facilities
The L’Occitane en Provence Spa on-site includes four treatment rooms providing face and body therapies using L’Occitane products and wellness concepts. Spa amenities comprise a hammam, saunas, steam baths, relaxation zones, and both indoor and outdoor heated pools with sea vistas.
The
fitness center offers personalized training programs, and a retail boutique stocks L’Occitane’s skincare and fragrance collections.
Event Spaces and Year-Round Operation
The resort supports weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, and retreats throughout the year. Flexible event spaces accommodate varying group sizes, while the design integrates cultural elements of Crete with global sophistication.
The property aims to promote Chania as an international destination operating 365 days annually, contributing to the local economy and visitor experience.
