Hilton Hotels & Resorts officially opened the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa on July 13, 2026, marking the brand’s first flagship property in Chania, Crete. The urban resort is located within a five-minute walk of Chania’s historic old town entrance and about 20 minutes from Chania International Airport. This launch represents Hilton’s return to Greece with more than 50 hotels currently operating nationwide.

Accommodation and Amenities

The new resort houses 85 rooms and suites, designed to accommodate families and leisure travelers. Each accommodation includes a private balcony, with select units featuring in-room saunas and views of the Aegean Sea. The property

boasts a heated rooftop infinity pool overlooking the coastline and a botanical garden designed to showcase panoramic sunset vistas of the water and old town. Indoor and outdoor heated pools and a fully equipped fitness center support wellness activities.

Dining and Culinary Offerings

Dining options at Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa include Poème de la Canée, an all-day restaurant spread over two levels serving Mediterranean cuisine and signature cocktails. The rooftop restaurant and bar, Céleste, features a heated infinity pool and offers panoramic sea views alongside a curated menu. The hotel also introduces Fauchon Café Pâtisserie to Greece, showcasing French pastries, desserts,

and gourmet sandwiches in the lobby. The C Bar lounge provides a selection of aged spirits and premium cigars for guests seeking an elevated evening experience.

The resort’s spa operates under the L’Occitane en Provence brand, featuring four treatment rooms dedicated to face and body therapies.
