Geggs Getaways hosted its first travel show on September 24, 2026, at Blackpool Stanley Park Golf Club. The Blackpool-based agency drew more than 200 customers to the event.

Bookings and Enquiries Total Significant Revenue

The travel show resulted in £11,000 of bookings during the evening. The agency also generated £50,000 in additional inquiries that are currently being pursued as potential sales.

Exhibitors and Partnerships Represent Diverse Holiday Options

Thirteen suppliers exhibited, including MSC Cruises, Marella Cruises, P&O Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Newmarket Holidays, Africa & Beyond, First Class Holidays, Ocean Florida, Holiday Best, Gold Medal, Attraction World, Red Sea Holidays, and Domes Resorts. Geggs Getaways also highlighted its partnerships with Transun, Wendy Wu Tours,

easyJet Holidays, and Railbookers.

Support From Inspire Group Drives Event Success

Homeworking by Inspire encouraged agency owner Ryan Anthoney to organize the event and assisted with securing exhibitors, raffle prizes, and marketing. Inspire Group sent three representatives from its head office to attend: Sam Fisher (head of business development and training), Stacey Wilson (onboarding and travel success manager), and Alice Victoria Whalley (travel success manager).

A raffle held during the event raised £500 for Dementia UK. The raffle prize was a three-night stay at Palazzo Versace Dubai, donated by Galaxi.

Agency owner Ryan Anthoney praised supplier support for the event, saying, “None of it would have been

possible without the fantastic support of our suppliers, who really got behind the event, and I’d like to thank every one of them. Raising money for Dementia UK at the same time made the evening even more special, and we’re already planning next year’s show.”

Lisa Henning, chief executive of Inspire Group, said, “Supporting our agents to make events like this happen is exactly what we’re here for. It’s a great example of how independent homeworking agents can drive business in their community and raise their local profile.”

The travel show demonstrated strong demand for in-person travel advice, with cruise

and Florida holidays especially popular among attendees.
