Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of the Accor Group, inaugurated Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 18, 2026. This hotel is Fairmont’s inaugural property in Thailand and operates in partnership with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC).
Designed by Thai architecture and interior firm PIA, the hotel incorporates motifs inspired by Thailand’s botanical heritage. The lobby features a chandelier based on the golden ratchaphruek blossom, Thailand’s national flower, made from 4,166 glass pieces and over 35,000 crystal balls. The design blends residential comfort with dynamic social spaces tailored to various events and gatherings.
The hotel offers 416
guestrooms and 58 suites located in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit neighborhood, an area known for its blend of culture, creativity, and contemporary lifestyle. The accommodations are positioned to immerse guests in the city’s energy and provide comfort for diverse traveler needs.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit features seven distinct dining venues scheduled to open throughout 2026. Among them, Wiggle Room, a cabaret-style supper club with live performances and a private entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, is planned to debut in mid-September 2026. Additionally, rooftop dining concepts on levels 32 and 33, including Italian-Japanese fusion and contemporary Thai cuisine, are slated to open in December
2026. Other venues encompass a North American-French brasserie, a cocktail bar, and a Thai street food-inspired pool club.
Wellness offerings include the Fairmont Spa, inspired by the jasmine flower, along with Fairmont Studio, which provides yoga, cardio, and strength training facilities. Fairmont Fit extends wellness programming to incorporate in-room and hotel-wide elements to support guests’ health routines during their stay.
The hotel contains more than 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) of flexible event space across three floors. Facilities include the Signature Grand Ballroom with a 12-meter ceiling and dedicated arrival forecourt, a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, and Couture
Hall. These spaces accommodate meetings, weddings, gala dinners, and various social and business functions.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit offers dedicated services for families and pets. The Kids Club program provides activities for children, while pets up to 30 kilograms are welcomed with tailored amenities for their comfort.
Guests booking the Fairmont Gold experience gain access to a ‘‘hotel within a hotel’’ service, featuring a dedicated reception, an exclusive lounge with curated food and beverages, and a concierge team. This caters to travelers desiring enhanced privacy and personalized service.
The building is designed to LEED Gold standards and integrates sustainability features such
as biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy management systems, superior indoor air quality, electric vehicle charging stations, and a heat-reduction façade. These elements align with AWC’s mission of “Building Better Future” and support the sustainability goals of Fairmont and Accor.
