During the summer of 2026, over 40 flights have been cancelled, accompanied by more than 800 delays at various European airports. This disruption impacts key cities such as Stockholm, Madrid, Athens, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Zurich, Geneva, Brussels, Dublin, and Copenhagen. The widespread disturbances have resulted in hundreds of travelers being stranded across these destinations.
These operational challenges span multiple countries including the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands, among others. Travelers passing through major airports across Europe should expect potential delays and cancellations during this peak travel season and plan accordingly to minimize inconvenience.
