Portugal saw 29.9 million tourist arrivals in 2025, a 3.3% rise from 2024, led by Spain, the UK, and France. Overnight stays hit 89.7 million with seasonality at its lowest since 2013.

International tourist arrivals to Europe rose by 5% year-to-date in Q2 2026, with overnight stays increasing 4.8%, as reported by the European Travel Commission. Greece, Italy, Malta, and Northern Europe posted the strongest growth despite ongoing Middle East conflict disruptions.

Vietnam recorded 12.3 million international visitors in the first half of 2026, a 14.9% increase year-on-year. The country targets 25 million visitors and $43 billion in tourism revenue for 2026.
