Disney Cruise Line announced Disney Imagination, its first ship set to sail from Japan starting spring 2029. Operated by Oriental Land Co., Ltd., the ship marks Disney's entrance into the Japanese cruise market.

A 44-year-old woman fell overboard from Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas near Zakynthos and was rescued after almost 20 hours. The Greek Coast Guard and cargo ship MSC Rossella III coordinated her recovery and treatment.

Royal Caribbean cancelled three Bahamas stops on Oasis of the Seas' October 18-25, 2026 sailing, rerouting the ship to Halifax for a single overnight port call. Passengers receive onboard credits and future cruise credits as compensation.
