Royal Caribbean will present The SpongeBob Musical as the headline show on its new ship Hero of the Seas, debuting in Miami in August 2027. The Icon-class vessel features numerous amenities and Caribbean itineraries through spring 2028.

Holland America Line has updated MS Zaandam’s 35-day Hawaii and South Pacific itinerary for October 2026, canceling the Tabuaeran port call. Schedule changes affect arrival and departure times at multiple ports.

Construction began on October 5, 2026, for a new cruise terminal at Naha Port, Okinawa, led by Cruise Port Naha G.K. in partnership with MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean Group. The terminal is scheduled to open by March 2028 and will enhance facilities to support advanced cruise ships.
