Accor Adds Treasure Island to Las Vegas Handwritten Collection

Accor has officially incorporated Treasure Island TI Las Vegas Hotel into its Handwritten Collection brand, marking the company’s debut in the Las Vegas hotel market. Treasure Island, an independently operated resort on the Las Vegas Strip, has 2,884 rooms, making it the largest hotel within Accor’s global portfolio.

The hotel retains its established identity after joining Accor’s Handwritten Collection. Guests at Treasure Island gain access to Accor’s ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and benefit from booking through Accor’s platform. Room rates at Treasure Island begin at $69 per night.

Travellers can redeem Accor Reward points at Treasure Island

starting at 1,000 points for a €20 discount, approximately $23. This addition broadens Accor’s footprint in U.S. gateway cities as part of its expansion strategy for 2026.

IHG Opens Kimpton Quinta da Marinha in Portugal

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched the Kimpton Quinta da Marinha resort in Cascais, Portugal, near the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and the Atlantic Ocean. The 194-room property includes an 18-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and padel courts, and a spa with seven treatment rooms.

Kimpton Quinta da Marinha participates in the IHG One Rewards program. Rates start at $209 or 33,000 points per night. The property offers guest amenities such

as complimentary morning coffee and tea, an evening social hour, yoga mats in every room, and no pet fees.

Marriott Introduces Sheraton Port Moresby Stanley Hotel & Suites

Marriott has added the Sheraton brand to Papua New Guinea with the opening of Sheraton Port Moresby Stanley Hotel & Suites. Located five minutes from Jacksons International Airport (POM), the hotel offers 394 accommodations, comprising 284 guest rooms, 15 suites, and 95 apartments equipped with kitchens and separate living areas.

The property features several restaurants and bars, an infinity pool, a full-service spa, and more than 2,500 square meters of meeting and event space. Room rates begin at $150 or 49,000

Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

Hilton Announces New Properties in Thailand, Maldives, and Chiang Mai

Hilton plans to open the 246-room Andamanda Voyage Curio Collection in Phuket by the end of 2026. The resort will be part of the Andamanda Waterpark complex, offering access to water attractions, restaurants, and shops. It will be Hilton’s first Curio Collection property in Phuket.

Hilton will also open the 75-room Coco de Mer Maldives resort in June 2027, located about 25 minutes from Malé by speedboat. Coco de Mer will feature restaurants, a wellness center, water sports, and pickleball courts.

Additionally, Hilton has signed a deal to open a 65-room Tapestry Collection hotel in

Chiang Mai’s Old Town. The hotel is housed in a heritage building that showcases Northern Thai architecture.
