Bay Gardens Resorts opened Sapphire Sands Villas, a new luxury resort comprising nine beachfront villas with 27 keys, on Reduit Beach in Saint Lucia in late July 2026.
The villas are available in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations. Some of those located on the ground floor feature private plunge pools, while all units have balconies with ocean views.
Sapphire Sands offers resort amenities including a spa with six treatment rooms, a fitness center, a yoga space, a large swimming pool, and a restaurant named Kimchi & Kalaloo that serves Asian-Caribbean fusion cuisine, including Korean barbecue. The resort provides personalized 24-hour
butler service with 18 staff members specially trained to focus on villa-specific guest needs.
Bay Gardens Resorts developed Sapphire Sands as part of a $13 million multiyear investment across its Saint Lucia properties, responding to increased demand for villa-style accommodations combined with luxury resort services. Instead of a traditional hotel model, the company has prioritized villa independence plus full resort infrastructure.
Guests at Sapphire Sands can access additional amenities across Bay Gardens’ Rodney Bay portfolio through the ‘Stay at 1, Play at 5’ program. Nearby attractions include Rodney Bay’s restaurants, bars, marina, the Bay Gardens Beach Club, Koral Kidz Club,
and Splash Island Waterpark. The resort is approximately six miles from Saint Lucia’s smaller northern airport, with the main international airport a longer transfer away.
Sapphire Sands aims to accommodate families, multigenerational groups, and couples seeking spacious villa accommodations with resort services. A Deluxe King Studio, one of the available villa configurations, was priced at $455 per night before taxes and fees for a September 3-6 stay, according to Caribbean Journal.
Villas have become increasingly important in Caribbean luxury travel as travelers seek more space, privacy, and the ability to travel with groups while maintaining access to resort-style amenities. Sapphire

Bay Gardens Executive Director Sanovnik Destang describes Sapphire Sands as the next step in the evolution of luxury hospitality, reinforcing the company’s local presence in Saint Lucia since 1994 and its move to expand villa offerings following its Water’s Edge Villas concept.
