Ennismore announced Mondrian Bodrum as its first hotel in Türkiye, redeveloping an existing resort on Türkiye’s Aegean coast into an adults-only property with 108 rooms, suites, and villas. The redesign is led by Ennismore’s in-house creative studio, AIME Studios.
The resort includes approximately 400 square meters of wellness facilities comprising a spa, treatment rooms, traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, gym, and movement studio. Leisure amenities feature a swimming pool, outdoor terraces, a redesigned beach club, private pier, and water sports facilities.
The property offers five food and beverage venues: Mimi Kakushi, designed by Pirajean Lees and introduced by Paris Society Consulting,
brings Japanese dining to Türkiye with a two-level sushi counter and cocktail bar; Kyma Beach Club serves Greek-inspired cuisine; SIPS operates as a late-night cocktail venue; House of Ruins provides all-day dining, a lounge, cocktail bar, private dining, art exhibitions, events, and cultural activities; and Aloha Bakery features a redeveloped French bakery concept overseen by Paris Society Consulting.
Family-owned Cactus Group is investing in Mondrian Bodrum as a destination combining accommodation, dining, entertainment, and culture. Hospitality consultancy Servotel facilitated the partnership among Cactus Group, Ennismore, and food and beverage partners, with Robin Kestek, Servotel’s Partner and Chief Business Strategy Officer,
highlighting the vision to unite wellbeing, entertainment, and art for both guests and the local community.
Louis Abi Abboud, Ennismore’s Group Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer of IMEAT & APAC, said Mondrian Bodrum marks an exciting milestone in Mondrian’s international growth, strengthening the brand’s presence in Europe and the Mediterranean while introducing Mondrian to Türkiye for the first time. He noted Bodrum’s position as a compelling lifestyle destination attracting a creative, culturally curious international audience, with the resort’s bold design and ambitious restaurant collection offering a distinctive hospitality experience.
An unnamed third-generation member of the Cactus Group expressed
pride in building on family heritage and shaping a new chapter by combining Mondrian, Mimi Kakushi, and Kyma into a lifestyle destination. This vision evolves from Ruins Bodrum, a social club inspired by the vernacular architecture and nature of ancient cities.
Mondrian Bodrum is part of Mondrian’s global portfolio including locations in Cannes, Bordeaux, Ibiza, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and the Americas. Ennismore’s international lifestyle expansion also features a 230-room Hoxton property in Dubai and new hotels under the Mondrian, Rixos, Delano, and Mama Shelter brands across multiple markets.
