Room Pricing and Upgrade Costs
Rates found by Caribbean Journal show the Luxury Junior Suite with ocean view priced at $583 per night. Swim-out suites are available at $609 per night, marking a $26 per night premium. Over a four-night stay, the upgrade to swim-out suites would add $104 before taxes or fees.
The narrow price gap between these two categories positions swim-out suites as an affordable upgrade option, offering guests direct
pool access without a substantial cost increase.
Resort Amenities and Facilities
Royalton Vessence Cancun includes six culinary venues and five bars. It offers The Royal Spa and the Moddo Fitness concept. The resort also features an open-air creative studio, beachfront experiences, and wellness programming centered around food and art.
The oceanfront rooftop pool provides an elevated space overlooking the Caribbean Sea, supplementing the beachfront and main pool areas. This combination creates multiple leisure spaces across the resort.
Brand Background and Corporate Strategy
Royalton Vessence Cancun is the second property under the Royalton Vessence brand, following the debut of Royalton Vessence Barbados on the island’s Platinum Coast, which has 220
suites. The Barbados opening was described by Royalton Hotels and Resorts President Jordi Pelfort as a significant step in the company’s development.
The Cancun resort expands the brand concept into a larger, more competitive market. It joins Marriott’s Autograph Collection, allowing participation in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

The resort market itself as adult-oriented, rather than adult-exclusive, broadening appeal to couples, adult groups, and families. Swim-out suites attract guests seeking an elevated vacation experience while Multi Bed Suites cater to families and groups.
