Disney Cruise Line will resume sailings from New York City in late September 2027, with the Disney Wish serving as the homeported vessel. This marks the first return for the Disney Wish to New York since 2023 and follows the ship’s inaugural season in Europe.
Seven Fall Sailings Include Bermuda and Atlantic Canada
The Disney Wish will make seven voyages ranging from four to seven nights. These itineraries target family travelers with destinations like Bermuda, New England, and Atlantic Canada. Five of the cruises will visit Bermuda, with three featuring extended stays to allow for more onshore exploration.
Ports of call in New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast
include Boston, Massachusetts; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. This return to the region is the company’s first in nearly four years, timed to showcase the area’s fall foliage.
Special San Juan Voyage and Booking Details
Among the planned sailings is a five-night itinerary to San Juan, Puerto Rico, which also stops in Bermuda. This special route connects the line’s seasonal offerings departing from New York City.
Disney Cruise Line will open bookings to its Castaway Club members starting August 31, 2026. General public reservations will begin on September 8, 2026.

Tracy Wilson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, said
the return to New York reflects the company’s dedication to expanding destinations and creating memorable family vacations. New York has historically been one of Disney Cruise Line’s preferred embarkation points.
The Disney Wish’s homeporting in New York for fall 2027 and spring 2028 highlights Disney Cruise Line’s effort to serve families in the Northeast with direct access to a variety of regional and Caribbean destinations.
