Hyatt Vivid Cancun officially opened in August 2026, marking the conversion of the former family-oriented Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort into an adults-only, all-inclusive property. The transition aligns with Hyatt’s focus on expanding the Hyatt Vivid brand, which targets travelers seeking flexible, locally connected all-inclusive experiences.

Hotel Accommodations and Dining

Hyatt Vivid Cancun features 416 rooms and suites, all offering ocean views. Guests can select Vantage Club accommodations for upgraded features that include premium rooms, access to an exclusive lounge, and dedicated concierge services. The resort’s dining options encompass seven restaurants and seven bars, providing unlimited a la carte dining without reservations

and 24-hour meal service. Beverage offerings include unlimited natural fruit juices, soft drinks, and international and domestic top-shelf spirits as part of the all-inclusive package.

Amenities and Activities

The resort includes two surf pools and three additional pools designed to support a balance of activity and relaxation. An ocean-view spa offers treatments such as massages, facials, hydrotherapy, and locally inspired therapies like a cacao ritual body wrap. Sports facilities include an 18-hole golf course along with courts for padel and pickleball. Cultural programming features cooking classes, tequila tastings, and art workshops inspired by regional traditions.

Location and Pricing

Hyatt Vivid Cancun is situated within the gated

Puerta del Mar community, overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Puerto Cancun marina. Its location places it minutes away from Cancun International Airport (CUN) and the Hotel Zone tourist district, providing convenient access for travelers. Nightly rates start at approximately $280 or 20,000 World of Hyatt points for double occupancy stays.

Brand Vision and Guest Experience

Ana Tomicevic, Vice President of Global Brand for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, said the Hyatt Vivid brand caters to travelers desiring an all-inclusive experience that is more flexible and locally connected. She added that Hyatt Vivid Cancun “builds on that vision by blending destination-inspired experiences, effortless hospitality and a unique location

that encourage guests to be fully present.” Guests can use World of Hyatt points toward lodging, dining, drinks, and activities, enhancing the convenience and value of their stay.
