Dubai’s luxury hotel sector is facing weak international demand in 2026, influenced by the ongoing U.S.-Iran war. Amid competition, hotels have opted to preserve published room rates while filling rooms through value-added incentives rather than cutting prices.
Atlantis Dubai Maintains Rate Integrity with Incentives
Atlantis Dubai is maintaining its rate integrity by offering added benefits to guests instead of lowering its published prices. Kyp Charalambous, vice president of sales at Atlantis Dubai, told Skift that the property has continued to introduce offers historically but prioritizes protecting its rate structure.
UAE Residents Receive Exclusive Benefits
To encourage longer stays, Atlantis Dubai provides UAE residents incentives such as resort credit, complimentary room upgrades, and
other benefits for bookings extending over a certain minimum number of nights. These efforts aim to add value without compromising rate levels.
Guests staying at Atlantis The Royal, a sister property, have reported receiving complimentary dining credits along with free admission tickets to Aquaventure World, the waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, and The Lost World Aquarium. These perks reinforce the hotels’ strategy of enhancing guest experience to maintain occupancy.
Charalambous emphasized the approach: “Atlantis Dubai has maintained its rate integrity throughout, while continuing to introduce offers, as it has done historically. What we’ve done is provide UAE residents added value
incentives, including resort credit, complimentary upgrades and other benefits when they stay for a certain number of nights, while continuing to protect rate integrity.”
