Accor has opened the Rimrock Banff resort within Banff National Park, Canada, marking the brand’s first Emblems Collection hotel in North America. This property is the second Emblems Collection hotel worldwide, following the November 2025 launch of Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in England.
Rimrock Banff Features and Redevelopment
The Rimrock Banff resort offers 320 rooms, including 57 suites, within a facility that underwent redevelopment to blend with the mountain surroundings. The infinity two-bedroom Suite features a roughly 1,260 square-foot exterior wraparound terrace with a barrel sauna, fire table, and views of the national park.
Wellness Studio suites provide fitness equipment, recovery tools, sleep-focused amenities,
minibars, and access to a sports gear-lending program.
Wellness Facilities and Guest Suites
Wellness offerings at Rimrock Banff are divided between two dedicated spaces: a 9,600 square-foot Bathhouse and a 3,800 square-foot Active Centre. The Bathhouse includes indoor and outdoor hydrothermal zones with vitality pools, hot pools, an infinity pool overlooking the mountains, cold plunge baths, a salt sauna, an aromatic steam facility, an Aurora sensory chamber, and a suspended meditation space.
The Active Centre is equipped with Peloton and Technogym machines, bouldering installations, fitness classes, and physical therapy services.
Guest Excursions and Food and Beverage
The resort’s on-site Expeditions Centre offers more than 50 seasonal guided excursions categorized by nature,
culture, physical exercise, and outdoor recreation. Activities include alpine yoga, guided walking tours, forest bathing, canyon ice walks, trips to the Athabasca Glacier, and Indigenous cultural experiences.
Dining options include Parker’s Table, which sources ingredients from regional foragers, fishermen, and agricultural producers, serving seasonal dishes. Rimrock Social operates as the central lounge, while The Listening Room features vinyl music alongside rare spirits and wines. Rimrock Market provides packaged goods and specialty coffees for guests.
