Dubai’s luxury hotel sector is facing reduced international demand following the U.S.-Iran war, forcing properties to balance between protecting published room rates and filling rooms. Many upscale hotels have responded by introducing guest perks to maintain their rate integrity while attracting local guests.
Atlantis Dubai Maintains Rate Integrity with Added Incentives
Atlantis Dubai has chosen to uphold its published room rates without cuts by providing added value incentives exclusively for UAE residents. The offers apply for stays of a minimum, unspecified number of nights, allowing the hotel to maintain its pricing structure while boosting bookings.
Guest Perks Include Resort Credit and Attraction Access
UAE residents staying at Atlantis Dubai receive complimentary resort credit, complimentary room upgrades,
and other benefits. Guests at Atlantis The Royal also gain free dining credit plus complimentary tickets to Aquaventure World waterpark and The Lost World Aquarium, both located at Atlantis The Palm.
Kyp Charalambous, Vice President of Sales at Atlantis Dubai, said, “Atlantis Dubai has maintained its rate integrity throughout, while continuing to introduce offers, as it has done historically. What we’ve done is provide UAE residents added value incentives, including resort credit, complimentary upgrades and other benefits when they stay for a certain number of nights, while continuing to protect rate integrity.”
Dubai’s luxury hotels are increasingly using this approach
of value-adding perks to avoid lowering published rates in a market challenged by geopolitical impacts. This strategy aims to sustain profitability and competitive positioning through 2025, despite a weaker international demand environment.
