Dubai luxury hotels are introducing additional guest perks in 2026 as a strategy to avoid reducing room rates amid ongoing weak international demand. The softer market is linked to the U.S.-Iran war, which has dampened travel to the region, forcing hotels to balance rate protection with occupancy.
Atlantis Dubai Maintains Rate Integrity with Resident Incentives
Atlantis Dubai has preserved its published room rates for the coming year while rolling out value-added incentives targeted at UAE residents. Kyp Charalambous, vice president of sales at Atlantis Dubai, told Skift the property has continued to introduce offers historically while protecting its rate structure. These incentives include resort credit, complimentary upgrades, and
other benefits for residents staying a minimum number of nights.
Specific Perks at Atlantis The Royal
Guests staying at Atlantis The Royal, another luxury property in Dubai’s hotel portfolio, have received complimentary dining credits along with free tickets to Aquaventure World waterpark and The Lost World Aquarium at Atlantis The Palm. These perks are aimed at increasing value for local visitors while maintaining room charge consistency.
The diminished demand from international travelers, attributed to geopolitical tensions related to the U.S.-Iran war, has led Dubai hotels to prioritize value-added packages rather than rate cuts. Adding resident-exclusive offers enables hotels to sustain pricing integrity while filling rooms.
