Rising Demand Drives Expansion, Says Messe Berlin Asia Pacific

Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, attributed the event’s growth to evolving business events needs in the region. He stated, “MICE Show Asia is evolving in line with the needs of today’s business events industry.” Seah noted that buyer expectations increasingly focus on measurable outcomes, meaningful experiences, and value. He emphasized the event’s value in connecting international suppliers with buyers, meeting planners

and corporate travel professionals, while also integrating the wider MICE, travel, and technology sectors.

New Networking and Professional Development Initiatives

MICE Show Asia 2026 introduces the Association Executive Networking Session, an invitation-only event for association executives to exchange ideas and discuss industry challenges. The Pinnacle Partners Experience, led by Uncommon Conferences following its 2025 debut, will offer a closed-door, experiential session for selected MICE and corporate buyers. David Sand, Group CEO of Uwin Iwin Incentives, described the Pinnacle Partners Experience as providing “uncommon experiences” beyond traditional event formats.

The event will also feature the MICE Fundamentals Workshop, a ticketed professional development program designed to upgrade skills

for emerging MICE professionals. This workshop is led by practitioners from IAEE, MPI, and SITE and focuses on fundamentals in designing conferences, exhibitions, and incentive events.

Conference Programme Highlights Industry Trends

The conference will gather industry leaders, corporate travel professionals, destination representatives, and technology experts to explore trends shaping the future of meetings, incentives, conferences, and events across Asia Pacific. Topics include evolving buyer behavior, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, resilience, and new business opportunities in MICE.

Speakers confirmed for the programme include Pom Corpuz of Chase Travel Corporate Solutions, Navodit Srivastava of Cvent, Scott Nodsle of Encore EMEA & APAC, Vivek Neb of Escalent,

JingWen Wong of FCM Meetings & Events, Errol Lim of Jublia AI, Florian Jacque of Midstay & MicePro, Michael Kruppe of Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), and David Hughes of Uniglobe Travel International.

Integration with ITB Asia Ecosystem and Key Partners

Key conference partners supporting the event include China Business Event Industry Committee (CBEIC), Global MICE Collaborative (a joint initiative of IAEE, MPI, and SITE), Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), Tourism Economics, and Uncommon Conferences. These organizations contribute market intelligence,

sustainability expertise, experiential event design, and global best practices.
