Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, under Accor Group, inaugurated its first property in Thailand on August 18, 2026. The Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, developed in partnership with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), is located in Bangkok’s dynamic Sukhumvit neighborhood and features 416 guestrooms alongside 58 suites.
Hotel Design Reflects Thai Botanical Heritage
The hotel incorporates floral-themed design inspired by Thailand’s national flower, the golden ratchaphruek blossom. The lobby is notable for a chandelier composed of 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls. Thai architectural firm PIA led the interior and architectural design, emphasizing a blend of contemporary luxury and residential comfort while embodying a
vibrant social atmosphere.
Culinary Venues and Entertainment Schedule
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit will open seven culinary venues progressively throughout 2026. Initial dining options include Harper’s, a North American-French brasserie, AELA Social Bar, transitioning from lounge to cocktail venue, and CAYA Pool Club, offering contemporary Thai street food flavors. In mid-September 2026, Wiggle Room, a cabaret-style supper club with a private entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, will begin operations. December 2026 will see two additional rooftop dining concepts launching on levels 32 and 33, featuring a mix of Italian-Japanese fusion and Thai gastronomic heritage.
Event Facilities and Family-Friendly Amenities
The hotel provides over 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) of event space
spread over three floors. Facilities include a Signature Grand Ballroom with a 12-meter ceiling, a secondary ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall, and versatile meeting spaces for conferences, weddings, and social events. Family services include a Kids Club, while pets weighing up to 30 kilograms are welcomed with dedicated amenities. The Fairmont Gold experience offers exclusive reception, lounge, and concierge services as a “hotel within a hotel” concept.
Wellness Features and Sustainability
Wellness is integrated through the Wellness Without Walls philosophy, extending beyond spa and fitness to the entire guest experience. Fairmont Spa features treatments inspired by the jasmine flower. The hotel includes spaces
for yoga, cardio, and strength training through Fairmont Studio, supplemented with Fairmont Fit programming. Designed to LEED Gold standards, the property incorporates biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy systems, superior indoor air quality, EV charging stations, and a heat-reduction façade, aligning with AWC’s sustainability strategy.
