MGallery Collection, Accor’s boutique hotel portfolio, and family-owned hospitality company Colossos SA have signed an agreement for the first MGallery adults-only hotel in Rhodes, Greece. Located in the Kallithea area, the resort is currently under construction and is planned to open in Spring 2027.
Hotel Design and Accommodation
The resort will feature a ten-storey building with a distinctive spiral silhouette, designed to offer sea views from every room. MGallery Rhodes will have 222 guestrooms, suites, and bungalows focused on providing privacy and an upscale adults-only experience. The architecture draws inspiration from Rhodes’ medieval heritage by integrating natural materials and organic forms to blend with
the island landscape.
Resort Facilities and Guest Experience
The property will include 50 secluded pools dispersed throughout the resort, alongside private pool bungalows and suites emphasizing exclusivity. The surroundings will integrate native plants such as olive trees and lavenders, creating a natural Mediterranean environment. This design aims to provide guests with an intimate connection to the location and a tranquil atmosphere.
Dining and Wellness Amenities
The resort will offer one fine dining venue and four specialty restaurants focusing on Mediterranean and international cuisine, each with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Guests will also have access to several bars, including a signature cocktail bar envisioned as a social hub
with creative mixology. Wellness facilities will comprise a 1,100 square-meter spa featuring an indoor pool and hydromassage pool, with spa treatments developed in partnership with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection.
Additional sport amenities include an outdoor fitness center, tennis courts, padel courts, and dedicated exercise routes for active guests.
Sustainability and Strategic Development
The project reflects Colossos SA’s commitment to sustainable tourism development on Rhodes, with investments in renewable energy and environmentally responsible practices. This approach aligns with Accor’s leadership in sustainability initiatives and supports responsible growth on the island.
MGallery Rhodes aims to enhance Rhodes’ international appeal as a world-class destination
and contribute to tourism expansion in the Southeastern Aegean region.
Brand Expansion and Market Positioning
MGallery Collection currently operates six hotels in Greece and is expanding its presence with this new Rhodes property. The brand has a global pipeline of 56 hotels, with plans to double its footprint in Greece soon. This hotel exemplifies MGallery’s strategy to deliver boutique properties that celebrate local culture and offer distinctive luxury experiences and is a strategic addition by Colossos SA to elevate hospitality standards on Rhodes.
According to representatives from MGallery and Colossos SA, the Rhodes hotel captures the essence of the island through its design, seafront location,
focus on wellbeing, and authentic connections, presenting a unique offering for high-end travelers seeking privacy and personalized service.
