
Vienna International Airport encountered a substantial disruption on June 24, 2026, as 117 flights faced delays and an additional 6 flights were cancelled. These disruptions impacted both departures and arrivals at one of Europe’s key aviation hubs.
Several airlines were affected, including Eurowings, Finnair, Lauda Europe, and Austrian Airlines. Among the most affected were flights traveling from Vienna to a number of German cities such as Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Munich. Travelers on these routes experienced delays and cancellations that contributed to significant schedule disturbances.
