United Hospitality Management (UHM) has signed three new hotel management agreements with IHG Hotels & Resorts in India, adding 182 keys to its portfolio. The new properties include Garner Corbett with 50 keys, voco Kanatal with 92 keys, and Garner Ahmedabad offering 40 keys, according to Hotel News Middle East.
UHM’s Expansion Strategy in India
UHM entered the Indian hospitality market by acquiring Rosastays in December 2025. Since then, it has signed 10 properties and currently manages a combined total of 24 operational and pipeline hotels in the country. The company applies a brand-agnostic, owner-centric model, partnering with multiple international hotel brands including IHG, Marriott,
Hyatt, Accor, Wyndham, and Yotel to optimize asset performance.
Scheduled Openings and Market Focus
These three hotels are scheduled to open between 2027 and 2029. Garner Corbett in Uttarakhand targets experiential wildlife tourism with its 50 keys. voco Kanatal, situated in northern India, is planned as a 92-key upscale mountain retreat. Garner Ahmedabad, with 40 keys, enhances UHM’s footprint in western India’s rapidly growing commercial sector, balancing the portfolio across leisure and business destinations.

Carlos Leal, Executive Chairman and Board Member of UHM, described India as a strategic growth market driven by rising domestic travel and investor confidence. Klaus Assmann, CEO for UHM Middle East,

UHM continues discussions on several advanced hotel management agreements and strategic partnerships across India and Southeast Asia, covering luxury, upscale hotels, mixed-use developments, resorts, and branded residences. The
company is also developing proprietary wellness, fitness, and food and beverage concepts to reinforce its integrated hospitality platform. UHM’s diversified business portfolio includes wellness brands such as Serenity, fitness concepts like Active by Serenity, and various internationally accredited sports and leisure facilities.
