United Airlines announced the addition of 10 new routes set to begin service in 2027. Tickets for these routes have been on sale since the announcement on September 6, 2026.

Routes Linking U.S. Cities and Expanding International Destinations

The new routes will connect Orlando with Chicago, Houston, Denver, and Washington. United will also expand service to more destinations in Japan, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and France than any other U.S. carrier.

Strategic Expansion Goals According to Leadership

Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances at United Airlines, stated, “We aim to have a destination on our route map for every traveler, at every stage of their lives. Whether it’s a business

trip, a dream honeymoon, a bucket-list adventure, or a trip home to see family, we’re making the world feel smaller and connecting cultures at a scale no other airline in the world can match.” He also noted that United has added flights to nearly 60 new international cities in the last decade, building a global network designed to set travel trends and inspire new discoveries.

Largest Expansion in United Airlines History

This launch marks the largest expansion in United Airlines’ history, substantially increasing its presence in major international markets. United is a popular choice for travelers flying to Disney World, connecting Orlando to multiple U.S. cities

and offering enhanced options for travel ranging from business to vacation.
