Thailand has introduced more stringent visa regulations for foreign tourists, a move attributed to rising concerns about crimes linked to some visitors. These changes are intended to better manage tourist entries and enhance overall safety.
Among the adjustments, visa-free stays for travelers from a number of countries have been shortened from sixty days to thirty days. This alteration affects nationals from several countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Singapore, Greece, and Italy, requiring travelers and travel operators to revisit their plans accordingly.
