Operations on the Taiwan High-Speed Rail network were briefly disrupted due to a signal failure located near Miaoli. This technical issue affected the railway’s communication and control systems in that region, leading to interruptions in regular service.
As a result of the signal fault, train services along major routes connecting Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung were impacted. Passengers traveling on these lines experienced delays and interruptions during the period the fault was being addressed.
After technical teams resolved the signal problem, full service on all affected routes was restored. Train operations have since returned to normal, allowing travelers to resume their
journeys without further disruption.
Passengers using the Taiwan High-Speed Rail network are advised to stay informed of service status updates through official channels, especially when traveling near Miaoli and on routes between Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
