A major signal fault occurred near Miaoli on Taiwan’s High-Speed Rail system, resulting in widespread service disruptions. This technical failure affected operations on key lines and led to cancellations and delays impacting many travelers.

Service interruptions mainly affected routes connecting the northern, central, and southern cities of Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. After focused repair efforts, the rail operator has successfully restored full train services across these major corridors. Travelers who experienced delays or cancellations can now expect normal operations to resume.
