Syria recorded 3.52 million tourist arrivals during the first six months of 2026, a 111% increase compared with 1.67 million visitors in the same period of 2025, according to the Statistics Authority at Syria’s Ministry of Tourism.

Tourist Increases by Origin

Visitor numbers from non-Arab countries surged by 448% year over year in the first half of 2026, while tourist arrivals from Arab countries climbed 107% compared to the first half of 2025.
