Rixos will open its inaugural all-inclusive resort in Thailand named Rixos Water World Phuket, with the signing announced on September 4, 2026. The resort is planned to open in early 2028 after an extensive renovation process.
Location and Facilities of Rixos Water World Phuket
Located along the tranquil shores of Mai Khao in Phuket’s Thalang District, Rixos Water World Phuket will feature over 600 guestrooms and villas. The resort is within easy reach of Patong Beach, Bang Tao Beach, and Old Phuket Town. It will include a landmark integrated waterpark and five distinct food and beverage venues. The property will also host one of Phuket’s largest banqueting and
MICE facilities for events and business conferences.
Resort Experiences: Activities and Amenities
The resort will offer an extensive range of activities designed for all ages, including a Kids Club and Teens Club. Its Exclusive Sports Club will comprise a fully equipped indoor gym, a multifunctional group class space, an outdoor jungle gym near the beach, and several sports courts. Dining options will feature Thai, Asian, Italian, and Latin American cuisines, following Rixos’ “world of choice” philosophy with all-day dining, specialty à la carte restaurants, beachfront venues, poolside snacks, and various bars and lounges.
Management and Strategic Partnerships
Ennismore will manage Rixos Water World Phuket, which joins its ALL Inclusive
Collection platform of curated luxury all-inclusive resorts. The opening is part of Rixos’ broader regional expansion in Southeast Asia, alongside the upcoming Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam resort scheduled to open later in 2026. The project is in partnership with Central Group Capital, a fund management arm of Thailand’s major conglomerate Central Group.
