On July 2, 2026, over 320 flights across Europe were cancelled, while close to 3,900 others experienced delays. These disruptions affected air travel across multiple countries including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Greece.
Several prominent European airlines were impacted, notably Lufthansa, Air France, easyJet, and Swiss. The disturbances were particularly felt at major airport hubs such as Munich, Zurich, Paris, and Rome, where groundings and scheduling setbacks led to widespread operational challenges.
