More than 400 flights were cancelled and about 2,550 flights were delayed throughout several European countries on July 11, 2026. The disruptions affected numerous routes across Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, and Switzerland.

Significant operational slowdowns were reported at major airport hubs such as Milan, Rome, Barcelona, and Lisbon. Airlines including Air France, ITA Airways, and Wizz Air Malta were among those impacted, with widespread flight disruptions reported across these carriers’ networks.
