On July 23, 2026, Jet2 announced it will introduce three new flight routes from Bournemouth Airport as part of its Summer 2027 schedule.
The airline is adding direct holiday services to Paris, Jersey, and Verona, expanding its offerings from the South Coast airport for the next summer season.
This launch contributes to a total of 22 routes available from Bournemouth Airport in Summer 2027, including previously confirmed routes to Bergen and Reus. The expansion results in more than 320,000 seats offered, marking an increase of over 8 percent compared to the summer program of 2026.
Jet2 Response to Rising Demand
Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy cited
strong demand from customers and independent travel agents for flights and holidays departing Bournemouth Airport. He described the three new routes to Paris, Jersey, and Verona as exclusive additions that form part of Jet2’s biggest-ever summer program from the airport. Heapy said the expansion brings more destinations, increased choice, and greater flexibility in travel options.
Bournemouth Airport Reaction
Steve Gill, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, called the addition of the routes “brilliant news for passengers.” He stated that Jet2’s investment demonstrates confidence in Bournemouth Airport and the South Coast region. Gill noted the new destinations enhance the airport’s role as one of the
UK’s fastest-growing regional airports and provide travelers with more holiday choices.
Booking Promotion and Traveler Benefits
To mark the introduction of the Jersey route, Jet2 is offering a £60 discount on Jet2holiday bookings to Jersey. This incentive aims to drive bookings on the new service. The overall increase to over 320,000 seats across 22 routes will provide customers with more direct flight options and greater capacity from Bournemouth Airport.
