
India’s inaugural bullet train is scheduled to commence operations in 2027, following multiple years of project delays, according to EasternEye. The Modi-led high-speed rail initiative aims to deliver the nation’s first bullet train service.
Route and Construction Details
The bullet train will operate on a 508-kilometer corridor connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Construction progress has been reported at the project site in Boisar, one of the key locations along the route. This high-speed rail corridor is a flagship infrastructure project under the Modi administration.
