India aims to inaugurate its first bullet train in 2027 after multiple years of project delays, according to EasternEye. The launch will mark the debut of high-speed rail travel in the country.
The bullet train will operate on a 508-kilometer high-speed rail corridor linking Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Construction is actively underway at the Boisar site as part of the Modi government’s Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor project.
